The World Congress on Stress, Trauma & Coping is the largest event ICISF holds in a two year period. With 1,000 or more attendees from across the U.S. and around the World, The specific date, time and location during the World Congress for the presentation of awards is to be announced.
All nominations should be submitted in writing (email attachments are acceptable) in essay/paragraph form, indicating the particular award and describing why an individual/organization deserves to be nominated for that award. Please provide full contact information for the nominee, as well as for the person submitting the nomination.

Nominations will be reviewed and award recipients selected by the 9th World Congress Awards Selection Committee during the third week of December. Please Note: ICISF is not able to provide any form of compensation to award recipients. The ICISF awards do not have a monetary value.
Presented to an individual who is seen in the Crisis Response Community as an “Unsung Hero,” demonstrated not only through their commitment but their deeds.
This award is presented to an individual/organization to honor his/her/their life-long contributions to the field of Crisis Response and/or ICISF, Inc.
This award is presented to an individual/organization that has made a significant contribution to their Community through Crisis Response.
This award is presented to an individual/organization for their excellence and/or innovations in the Training and Education of individuals/organizations in the field of Crisis Response.
This award is presented to an individual/organization for their commitment to their Team/Community through the ministry of presence and compassion in Crisis Response.
This award is presented to an individual/organization for their contributions, through their medium, which have made a positive impact on the field of Crisis Response.
This award is presented to an individual/organization from outside of the U.S. for their significant impact within their home nation and/or nations throughout the world in the field of Crisis Response.
These awards are presented to an individual/organization for their actions and commitment in the continued legacy and spirit of ICISF’s Cofounders, Dr. Jeffrey T. Mitchell, Ph.D. and Dr. George S. Everly, Jr., Ph.D. This award shall have four categories.
